Hi, I’m Bea
When I was five, I asked for a little mermaid journal that unknowingly to me, gave me a space to start to share my thoughts safely while growing up in a home where safety wasn’t accessible. I started to write about everything – jokes I heard at school, things I learned, and how I felt. I immediately fell in love with writing, the sound of ink scratching on paper, and the safety it brought me. A stable journaling habit evolved quickly, and I haven’t stopped journaling since.
Living in New York in my late teens, I started to understand how C-PTSD played into my life and my daily behavior from growing up in a household with domestic violence. I came upon a choice-point where I had to decide whether I live with the truth and do nothing about it, or I take action to become a better person with a peaceful mind.

I dove deep into a life of healing for 10+ years. This includes journaling 4 hours a day, EFT, talk therapy, daily meditation, herbal medicine, EMDR, unraveling spirituality, yoga, hypnosis, visual meditation, inner child work, somatic therapy, art therapy, and getting a BA in psychology. Through all the sweating of navigating the ups and downs, I found purpose in showing up to talk and teach about mental health and the real truth about transforming your life after trauma.
The Ink Space fills gaps and empty voids that we avoid confronting because it’s not fun. It’s difficult, especially when confronting them alone. This is a community where we talk about navigating our emotions, sharing our experiences, and showing up authentically.
My hope for The Ink Space is that the ink can help change your life, as it did for me too.
For all those who are in the middle of a deep soul search, are amidst their radical healing, feel lonely, are looking for deep internal change, are itching in curiosity to understand yourself, or are experiencing/ed the dark night of the soul — welcome.
